Oxfordshire CTC Chit-Chat
We are now more
than half way through the administrative year. It is proposed to hold face to
face meetings in order to resolve some issues affecting the groups – mainly Wantage’s ambitions. The CTC’s new group structure has led to
some new emerging admin dilemnas. What is apparent is
that we make some type of adjustment to these changed conditions. In some cases,
to the changed conditions of the type of cycling activity in most demand – these appear to be half day rides and in some cases off-road rides.
What is also
important is not to leave our members out on a limb – facing possible legal
challenges in cases of accidents. We must not be afraid to embrace change, but
the change must be in line with the types of demand the cycling ‘market’
requires.
